This is the one you want! Very sturdy. Much better than the original fitting from garmin! Fit my car vent perfectly. Would definitely recommend.

Installation is easy. Just place it with the hook down and catch the vent blade then tighten the knob. I drive a 2015 subaru forester. I use the dashboard mount in cooler weather when the sun is not so hot.

The whole cradle/mount fits over or under the yoke. The size “large” arm is long enough to bring the ipad away from the ipad just enough to clear the panel. This adapter was used to help mount an ipad inside of an ambulance.

Fit and finish flawless. Only complaint i have is the limited angles you have with it. But the looks are not much to complain about.

Vibrates like a #$#%#@#$@ when it is horizontal, which makes mounting on my truck windshield useless. Because of handlebar vibration during engine running this one can't hold my navi in upright position hard enough.
