Device works very well and handles a fair amount of small debris along with water. Large discharge hose is a little cumbersome to work with but it does work well. Attach your water hose, turn on faucet, and suction is created.
You have to constantly reposition yourself and the hoses to try and suction from the edges of the pond. How one would even use this without attaching some type of handle or other suction tube is beyond me.

It pumps but it is annoyingly loud and stresses out our animals. It is also not adjustable as they claim. The hose is only 3 feet long.
