The coffee grinder is easy to use and clean. It has been thoughtfully designed. The cup is removable and easy to clean.
The proctor silex coffee grinder is stout and sturdy. It's larger in the hand than the old braun grinder i replaced, but the shape of the barrel nevertheless makes it easy to pick up and hold. It grinds well.
Grinds evenly and fast - about 10 seconds for 2 tablespoons of beans. In fact, unless i'm grinding extra fine for espresso, just a few pulses generally does the trick.
I'm a bit stumped by this, but i think it has to do with the noise frequency. The extra bulk is the insulation against noise. This one really is much quieter!

Small and cute looking so fits in the kitchen cabinet. Yes it's loud. Nothing offensive. Easy to clean.
Grinds my coffee great. It grinds anything i have put in it to a very, very find powder with no large chunks. Blends the beans very well. Took a bit of patience maybe 2 minutes of total blending.
Only a very small amount of coffee can be grinded at a time. Was grinding spices for around 20 minutes, in intervals. Of course once i pass the window of return it poops out!
Only used once, and the transparent cover is damaged. Quit working after 2 uses. Lasted only 9 months. Won't work; i even let it be for a day in case it decided to go on strike for being overworked.
