The proctor silex coffee grinder is stout and sturdy. Grinds evenly and fast - about 10 seconds for 2 tablespoons of beans. It is bulkier than a typical grinder. I use it for grinding coffee beans.

Easy to use, not messy at all and ground coffee empties easily into filter basket. Contains the grounded coffee with no mess and is easy to clean. It disassembles easily for cleaning.

Advertising this as a 12 cup grinder is just dishonest. It's a 4 cup coffee grinder - maybe 6 if you drink really weak coffee. Lasted only 4 days. Unnecessarily complicated and falls all over itself. Not easy to clean with the blades in the way.

It performs just as stated from prior reviews during my search. I lik it because it doesn't take up space in my small home. It grinds my coffee up really nice i love it!
