The nightlight gives the option of three levels of brightness or totally off if one wishes. It has a light sensor on the plug itself so when the area the plug is in has a lack of ample light it provides its own source. Nite light is a plus.

Great concept, but defective or broken. It doesn't stay plugged in. If a cord moves, it resets everything and defeats the purpose.
