The cord is nice and sturdy - but not to bulky. The longer cord makes repositioning it easier and convenient. Overall it's working like a champ.

This product description is misleading. There is no indication on the product or package the number of joules; it is only mentioned on a small piece of paper with no company name or logo. Also appears to be of inferior quality, but did not use.

All 3 of the usb ports went out last week, we have a small lamp and a digital clock plugged in to it. My computer was fried while it was plugged into this unit.
