It is not soft, is not at all what you think is in the picture. It's very lightweight. The blanket has an overwhelming chemical smell that gets worse after putting it through a dryer cycle.

Even so, it blends just fine with the teal accents in that bedroom. It’s not soft but not scratchy. I place it between the top sheet and coverlet so the texture doesn’t bother us.
This blanket is fairly loosely woven, so it washes and dries nice. Clean filter. Washed and dried excellently.
Blanket sheds lint on any thing it touches. Had to tumble dry it multiple cycles, shake it out outside, then put it in the washer again, repeat with the tumble drying shaking.
The feel of the blanket is rough and not comfortable on your bare skin. It's also very scratchy. Feels like a blanket they give you in jail.
