Mercury silver to me is slightly transparent. These are they are silver. What really fries me is that apparently i have to pay for returning them! Shame on me.

It's simple and classy. Fits perfectly on a side dresser in our guest room.

Not buying furnishings on amazon again. The lamp is too bright white the brass looks too bright gold. The second one was received and is better - but still crooked.
