The dial at the top is easy to adjust and it actually keeps the water to the temp you set it to. Took my 10 gallon tank from 67° to 72° in 30 min. Works super well in my 44 gallon tank.
I highly suggest getting a spare heater in case one burns out on you. I like the fact that it's small and i could put it in the corner of my tank. Only thing i really dislike is the short cord.
Once you have the heater and thermometer installed you're onto the important part. The thermometer alone is $7-10 and you'll need one of those anyways. The heater works nice but the free digital thermometer it came with is garbage.
Told me to refer to instructions included with my order. Ended up returning the item. This is the second time i've tried to use one of these orlushy heaters, they're just junk.

The cord is ample. It is nice that the control is on the cord instead of at the top with a hit glass tube and a dial like a previous heater. Lets me know when the tank temp is tising due to inside home temp rising during summer months.
They cling to the side with no issue. The heater works fine and is accurate. Be sure to have a temperature sticker on the tank to keep track of the temperature. The suction cup actually hold it to the sides of the tank really well.
An old school thermometer agrees that my tank is sitting at 76/77 degrees. It jumps around from 77 to 80 in a second. The heater itself registers the wrong temp and doesn't warm correctly.
