Reminiscent of a classic banker’s lamp. The base is heavy but there is a little slack when moving the lamp side to side. This lamp exceeds all expectations.

The dimmer is a really nice feature. The intensity of the light's brightness is adjustable. Illuminates bedroom nicely, very pleased with brightness levels.

Using the pull chain nearly causes the whole lamp to fall over. Just out of the return window, natch.
