The adhesive backing keeps it firmly in place and allows it to last longer. It prevents sliding on hardwood floors, wood floors, laminate or tile flooring.

The adhesive is not good at all. Still moves anytime someone sits down and we are constantly having to move the couch back in place.

These work great to keep my closet door knobs from smashing into the grey wall. Size is small but it does the job and are barely noticeable. Since the walls are grey love not having a white form on the he walls.
