Insert the cutter into one guide and into the appropriate tooth on the chain. Tighten the outer thumb screw on that end of the guide body. Gently pull the chain to bring the tooth into full contact.

Tried modifying it. Problem is, they do not mesh together. This tool idea is good just don’t buy a cheap knockoff.

The sharpener can't be welded on. The carbide on the grinding bit isn't even carbide and it didn't even sharpen the whole tooth. The file parts have virtually no grit.
