It attaches well and does a fairly decent job with sharpening. It only takes a few seconds to sharpened my blade and it's just like new now, if not better. The chainsaw sharpener * is easy to set up and use, sturdy and seems very durable.

Comes with gloves, a strap for your chainsaw which is really nice and the allen wrench. The gloves and the pouch is a nice addition to protect and make it easier on you.

The sharpening rod is threaded and the handle has a tiny screw on the side that is suppose to tighten down on the rod. When i slid the chain back to snug against the stop, the whole thing just pops out of the body of the sharpener.
