All i need do is just leave the fixture in the on position with the 1 1/2 bulb extender * into the fixture.

I unreservedly recommend this product, and cannot believe how fast bulb technology has evolved! This is much nicer and brighter.

Contacted amazon and the defective bulb was replaced immediately.

It comes on when it's supposed to, has a nice soft yellowish light, stays on a decent amoutn of time and goes off. If i walk by the door it comes on. It is at the end of a long dead end hallway. Great safety item without the hassle.
