The medium bag fits fairly well, but i think it is a bit too big for the ideal. It fit my salsa timberjack perfectly, and the stitching and zippers held up over 1500 miles of rough riding. The medium fits my 20” fatback 190 frame like a glove. It fits... Read More
Has two compartments, lower section custom cut to enclose ebike battery. The option to have two or one compartment is choice since i put all my tools and snacks in lower and clothes in top. Surprising amount of storage.
The zippers are now proper ykk's and the liner fabric seems much more robust. The zipper is on the right, which means it's on the same side as the chainring. Seams are sturdy.
Double stitching on the velcro straps is something on my moose trek wish list.
Material is very water resistant but not 100% waterproof. Waterproofing is not the best, but a bit of spray will help. It's durable and keeps things dry.
Disappointed in the durability of the frame bag. Would hold up well on paved roads, but bumpy fireroad descents are too much for it. Straps are cumbersome too big and ribs against shift chain.

Topeak makes high quality pricey add ons. Quality of the material feels durable. Inferior design but still useful.
It clips onto the rear of a topeak rear rack and works perfectly. It slides on the track nicely, but it will make a slight rattling noise. I have it mounted on the rad expand 5 using the cascade manufacturing rack deck plate.
Detachable top compartment is also deceptively spacious. Main bag area has plenty of room and is expandable.
If you get one of these make a handle that uses the clasps on each end. It has a little cinchable bungee cord that goes in the finger groove of your water bottle to keep it from bouncing out. The bag doesn't clothe well, but it doesn't hurt either.
The benefits of the topeak attachment system to the *consumer* are dubious. The heavy plastic proprietary attachment hardware adds a great deal of unnecessary weight to this bag. Maybe it's prohibitively expensive?
You have to velcro the straps around the frame and this is where the frustration stated. No velcro loops or places to thread straps or bungees. The silver stripes on the side and rear of the bag have rough and grainy surfaces, the pannier stripe does ... Read More
