The shade diffuses the light enough to work well in the living room without too much glare on the tv. It makes a great desk lamp or accent lamp.

it's perfect on my nightstand, so as not to disturb my husband. I mostly use it so i can continue reading my kindle in bed. Adjustable to different colors and brightness.

Lights up well. Works great. Colors are nice and bold. Very bright.

This lamp is overpriced for the quality. The remote is very flimsy. Worked great for a month then the button got stuck.
