The grinding cup is removable and dishwasher safe. The cap that covers the metal grinding container is a tight press fit and no residue escapes the container. The removable canister makes cleanup a breeze.

The mecity grinder gets that fine grind that i prefer. Made espresso fine grinds in seconds. Two seconds is plenty to get a fluffy, smokable texture that loads easily into cones.

The max line holds about 3 overflowing tablespoons of beans. Fresh veggies, like carrots, it grinds. It works very well grinding coffee beans, which is what i mainly purchased it for.

This grinder is the most over-engineered piece of junk. Looks good on the counter, but now it's just a paperweight. This is not due to any outlets or electrical problems.

To say i am disappointed in this bean grinder is an understatement. There was a slight smoke coming from the unit and a burning odor. There were still whole beans in the pod. Not able to grind several batches in a row.

The finer the grind the more flavorful the coffee is. I sort of shake it as i have the button pushed so every bean is ground. Does fast work.

Lid is difficult to line up to close. Product takes too much time to complete the grinding and its impossible to clean. Can't have it.
