Bamboo gives a great heaviness and cooling effect to the blanket. The knit is a little tighter than my cotton thermal blankets. Warm without being bulky.
The blanket is much softer than pure cotton. Since it is all natural fibers, it breathes better than any synthetic blanket does. It washes up well, dried it on low in the dryer, it's lightweight and comfortable.
The color (minty green) is absolutely gorgeous. The tiffany blue color is a greenish aquamarine that really pops. It is well-made and i like the beach teal color — it is so cheerful.
But it washes well and the odor was gone on first wash.
The blanket weave is tight enough not to constantly pull and loop, which is a personal pet peeve. The design is minimalist but still has visual interest with its discreet geometrical pattern.
This blanket provides the year-round flexibility to use it as an added layer to keep warm during cooler temperatures. The quality is good but it would probably snag if animals were allowed on it.
Only issue is that it sheds fuzzies everywhere. Also there was very little lint left in the washer or dryer.
This blanket is very soft and luxurious. The softness of this blankets feels very nice. Right out of the bag this blanket is buttery soft.
The threads are virtually impossible to keep from snagging or pulling, even with the most gentle of care. It also snags very easily. But it has many snags, straight out of the packaging.
