Pros and Cons

Pros2

I have dysautonomia and pots and heat intolerance and get very ill when overheating. The cooling side keeps me cool all night. It is lightweight and i will probably use this as my winter blanket.

This blanket is silky and light, and works like magic to keep me cool at night. It definitely has a cooling effect on one side initially. After using it for about 5 months - it is much cooler than not using it.

Cons2

One side is made out of what would be used for cheap workout pants. The entire surface of the colling side has large, hard pilling. However, this is my fault -the blanket does look as pictured.

Blanket is now extremely uncomfortable and not cooling. I have an oscillating fan, but it doesn't make much of a difference. The cooling part works but be prepared for this blanket to look and feel absolutely hideous in about 2 months.

Pros3

There are two sizes so the price ranges from $20 to $24. Wool does have some downsides and this blanket is no different. For the price, i am very satisfied.

After a wash and line dry it's fleecy and soft, has the itch you'd expect from wool. Run it through the drain cycle again to help get some of the moisture out. First thing i want to address is the odor some have complained about.

Wanting to conserve energy and finances on electric. My girls are always cold and usually have a bunch of fleece blankets, but we traded them all for a sheet, wool blanket and down comforter. Nothing is warmer and more durable.

Cons3

It smells like a tire, even after washing it twice. Nearly broke washing machine. If this ruins my washer and dryer, i'm going to sue them.

The smell of oil also lingers. Smells like petrochemicals and hasn't gotten better. The oder is petroleum smelling.

This one is fluffier and uses very short fibers that become unraveled readily. It sheds a lot. The stitching around the edge was coming undone in several places.
