Pros and Cons

Pros4

The maono pd400x works over both xlr and usb. Usb mode competes with the xlr setup which is cool. The xlr sounds amazing as well paired with a good interface.

Overall sound quality exceeds the quality of other popular mics such as the blue yeti. It's a top quality sounding podcast microphone with great features that make sense.

Mic has good gain and will pick up ambient noise. It's got better discretion, in terms of not picking up ambient sounds. There's also a tap-to-mute area on the mic, which is handy and nice.

The mic looks excellent and sounds very good. It has a solid build and an awesome sound. This is extremely versatile. This mic is fantastic!

Cons1

Just be cautious buying a mic from a no-name company like this. The support is non-existent and the quality control is clearly not there. Watched several youtube videos praising this microphone.

Pros5

The mxl v67g captures my voice nearly as well as this mic. Its surprising this is cheaper than like the yeti mic & some other brands. This mic is amazing for its price!

The n1 kit comes with the shock mount and pop filter. The pop-filter bracket is an awesome plus since you can pre-set the distance from the microphone. The only downside of this mic is the rigid design of the pop filter.

The rode is a standout in their line and is incredibly natural sounding. The mic appears solidly built and is a bit heavy.

Recordings come out silky smooth with very low noise. Low noise, eqs well.

Cons1

The microphone records extremely quietly. It's a shame that none of it can be usable. The shipment back to their facility would not be covered, only repairs and the shipment back. I'm saying this mic is defective.
