The maono pd400x is an exceptional microphone that exceeded all my expectations. It comes with a foam mic cover/windscreen, and a very dense and solid mic stand. The combo usb/xlr option is wonderful, allowing for just about anyone to use this.
Looks well built and a bargain price, good reviews too. Great package at a very competitive price point. I also love that it allows my location kit to weigh that much less.
It's ridiculously versatile. Comes with software that is fully configurable. The default setting sounds incredible. The eq lets you adjust this as desired though.
