Pros and Cons

Pros4

Led is bright enough to use in a torch lamp. Works with my old halogen torchiere lamp despite it's size.

Bulbs are on a jasco z-wave digital dimmer and will dim to 1% without flicker. It also flickers at certain dimming levels, but it's easy to find settings that work.

It is brighter than the 300w halogen, but not disturbing. Its just as bright as the halogen but more pleasant. My room is much brighter now than before.

What a crock. Dead in less than six months. Expensive for it to only last 1-2 yrs.

The light is nice and bright and crisp, but it isn't harsh or unnatural. These are perfect, white enough and bright enough for a kitchen but don't wash out the color of the cabinets, floors and counters.

Cons1

Bulbs are very white even when dimming. Didn't even lose brightness until i turned the dimmer way down.
