These lights are awesome. They stick directly into the soil of your plant, so you'll need to make sure the soil is dense enough to support the weight of the light. These are fabulous!
The light is very bright and has a nice timer and range when it comes to frequency. Goes very bright- doesn't go super dim though. I'm at college and my dorm doesn't get much sun. It shines a cool/white balanced light.
It's hard to push the halo onto the body of it. I have limited mobility so it's just to exhausting to try and assemble it again. The plastic rods that hold the light up are very flimsy.
