Each light has a timer and a brightness level option. The different light colors offer even more customization. These go into the base of the lamp and the bottom goes into a pointed plastic piece, similar to one of those generic solar lamps.
These small lights are designed for small mini gardens. I have a mini polka-dot plant that is absolutely thriving off of this light. Great seed starting lights.
Has telescopic poles for adjusting height. The pole also telescopes to the perfect height. Height adjustability is wonderful, light stays cool.
Timer presets are for 4, 8, 12 and 18 hours on. The 4h/8h/12h/18hour per day are satisfactory. I have it set to an 18 hour timer with the combo light spectrum.
The cord is a good length and you can plug into a socket or your device. The double sided tape works and holds first time.
The plastic rods that hold the light up are very flimsy and do not hold the halo light stable. The stand/stake are very delicate. One cracked while inserting light in stand.
Works great for starting seeds from peat pellets. I have this set up over succulents.
It is compact, with a dimmable light and timer. The height is adjustable for different size pots.
My favorite part is probably the timer function. This allows me to tailor the settings to how my plant likes it. The only downside is that it seems to be coming on later and later.
The timer is an incredible hassle to get it to work. The controller does nothing and the light just flashes a bit.
