Light simulates natural sunlight which you can turn on any time of the day. This light is great on my nightstand where sunlight is lacking. The switch guides through three different light modes and ten levels of brightness.

The timer function works well, the options being 3, 9, and 12 hour modes. It’s also a usb plug so it's very universal. Only thing i’m not fond of is how easily it tips.

The tripod legs just flop around and collapse if you try to stand them up. There doesn't seem to be a way to lock them in place. Perhaps the one i got is defective?

These are a must for indoor plants! Will buy more units to enhance my green house. I wish the cord was longer and that the goose neck bits were a tad bend-ier.

The timer function works perfectly so far ( i have it on 9 hrs) the lights are nice and bright and plenty for all my cacti and succulents. The directions are easy to follow and the timer is fantastic.

The bulb is wired into the stand and will not take bulb replacements. I am very disappointed in the fact that it could cause a safety hazard if i had plugged it in.
