It is a good 'dupe' however the quality difference is there. This takes a bulb with a chandelier base, though the globe is big enough to accommodate most any size bulb with that e12 base. It is so simple and elegant!

It brightens up my kitchen and am just thrilled that i dont have to be constantly changing out light bulbs! Very bright replacement for previous flourescent light.
