L-citrulline is a solid vasodialator. The powder mixes easily with my pre-workout drink and doesn't have any unpleasant taste. I tend to prefer citruilline malate because i like the citrus taste but this tasteless pure version isn't bad.

L-citrulline is an acid and has a very low ph. It must be some other supplement, god knows what, that they mislabeled and sold as l-citrullines. This stuff seriously smells like *.

Maybe my experience is unique. Hard to know. Be very, very careful.
