The telescopic stand is reinforced. Each ridge cranks into place and is then reinforced via a pin lock. The hand crank is smooth and folds up when not in use.
These easily handle heavy weight speakers and are tot add lot adjustable. They are very strong for my edifier 22 lbs. These are very sturdy.
Easy to assemble is an understatement. They are easy to set up and quite sturdy. Ease of use is beyond easy.
The stands are magnificent! I have expensive versions of these from another vendor, and i swear they are identical! Best stand hands down.
The stands that i finally decided on are setup as a tripod and were rated at 80 lb capacity. This stands are solid. The stands are extremely well built and sturdy.
Without that, they are both very wobbly and collapse down (forcing the legs out) if much weight/pressure is put on them. Not terribly satisfied, returning and getting something else.
