The telescopic stand is reinforced. Each ridge cranks into place and is then reinforced via a pin lock. The hand crank is smooth and folds up when not in use.

These are great for the home producer. If you're not a * to cosmetics and don't mind the sturdy black industrial look.

The adjustable height is fantastic, and i have mine one notch less than it's top/highest setting. Keeps stands steady and stable, with the carpet pegs being used in my case, since these stand on carpet.

Is this speaker mounting system a joke? Received scratched up and slightly damaged. Bases were scratched like they were dragged down the street before being delivered.
