Keep muh hands warm even at - temps. The casteli is more dexterous and probably much netter when wet with the goretex. I also go a pair of castelli estremo gloves that i thought $100 would buy more warmth.
Gloves look and feel great but was not usable for below 0 f. The -40 degree warmth is a misnomer. No-way are these gloves rated for -40 deg's.
Yes they are windproof and waterproof, but they are not thermal. If it wasnt for the wear on them, id ask for a refund. Plus, they are extremely bulky.

The xl fit super well (6'3, large build) - not too tight but definitely snug with the velcro cuff. Got a large and feels like there’s room for a liner.
Nice and sturdy, without being too thick or bulky. Quite surprised and definitely worth every penny.
The medium size was made, apparently, for ants. These gloves have no grip whatsoever. Go with a leather belay glove. Not the real deal - order elsewhere.
