The packaging is reusable and contains no plastic. The tin comes with 90 tablets, so they will last a long time especially using half a tablet each time. They look better on the sink top than a messy, squeezed-up tube.

Some of the ingredients give it a really odd flavor and texture. It foams well and works as toothpaste well, but it is unusable for travel. The cotton that was packed in the tin was all separated and all over the toothpaste tablets.

Glass jar (substantial thickness but not heavy) easily recyclable, great product. No refill packs available, so you have to buy jar after jar with plastic lids. These also contain fluoride, which was important to me.

Lighter than a small tube, and easy to detrrmine how much to carry. They are light, no waste, and no tube. It is so nice not having to deal with the end of the tube having residue or trying to squeeze out what little remains.

The label on the package is laughable if not an outright lie. Comes in a plastic bubble mailer and the glass bottle is too small to recycle. Tastes like an expired tums that your grandma finds in the back of her medicine cabinet.
