The power cord is soft and flexible forming turns is easy as it's not the normal fat, stiff, cord type. Two 1) don't overfill it. Cups of coffee grounds. I do this over the sink because it works great but makes a mess.
This extremely affordable coffee grinder works perfectly. Mine has a ul stamp on it, which i appreciate.
This is quiet, well built, small and it grinds espresso beans well. It's not the quietest but that doesn't really bother me. It holds enough coffee beans to grind for 14cups drip coffee.
This conical burr coffee grinder is my new favorite. You can't achieve the kind of finely-tuned grind as you can with a conicalburr grinder.
The motor seized up and started smoking without a single twist of the blade shaft. Grinds coffee beans with less success than a cuisinart or krubs. After grinding is for several minutes i still have whole beans left.
It is the quietest grinder i've ever used. Not completely silent but very quiet. Is this quieter than a tornado vortex, yes.
It's almost impossible to over-grind. The bowl is easily removed and can be cleaned.
It grinds the beans wonderfully. I am no coffee snob. Bought this so i could buy beans at costco and not use their grinder.

The negative is the lid design. It takes days for the water trapped between the lid to dry out.
This grinder is no more silent than anything else on the market. Is it quieter, no. If you want a quiet/silent grinder, this is not the product for you. Hate everything about it but am too lazy to return it and find something else.
