The otter clasp holds a large phone in an otter box that measures about 3. Inches. Fits the samsung note 2, only horizontally though. Will work well for most phones and even a large gps - but buy at walmart.

Clip is so flimsy that it broke in my hand while i was attatching the garmin. Any driving motion knocks the mount off the dashboard.
