This heater is being utilized in one of my smaller tanks with is sized at 20-gallons. It's looks a bit large in my 20 gallon tank, and blends in well with a black background. Only thing i am wondering about is how easy this heater can be cleaned once ... Read More
My neighbors know what temp my tank is. Keeps the temperature perfect. Can set the temperature without reaching in the tank.
It was advertised as one of the very best. This is a hefty unit and overall feels like a quality product. Your products remain top notch in my book!
Ther is a good visual indicator for this product. Clear and bright enough to see without detracting from the rest of the tank. My only gripe, is the temperature display is off by between.
When you buy this and follow the directions this heater will work fantastically. Zero issues with it so far after 3 months. Makes a great little backup heater too.
One of the marketing graphics indicates that it will turn back on in a low power mode when the temp falls just 0. The flickering stops as soon as i unplug the unit.
The fluval e-series is the best aquarium thermometer on the market. I have a 30 year old 44 gallon fresh tropical water pentagon shaped aquarium. In my 29 gallon high, the 200 watt works great.
Led back-lit lcd display is nice and makes checking the temp very handy. Microprocessor control makes setting the temp easy, as well. Lighted digital display in tank is a bit unsightly, but it is easy to read.

It never fluctuates. Turning it down to 75 is fine, but since it will reset to 77 automatically after being powered off (or a power outage), that's somewhat annoying.
No problems with lf (low flow) warnings on the display or wild heating or cooling. I have to buy and place a wavemaker close to the heater and problem solved.
I suspect this was simply a faulty unit as i have a fluval 306 filter. Temp reading is always off.
