These have a long shelf life, but i have had difficulty getting batteries before that were affordable and would properly depassivate. Done correctly it works great.

The batteries were stamped 2010 and were not compatible with out current alarm system. Since it's made in china, there is maybe one or two factories that manufacturer these batteries and slap on a label for the distributor selling them.

These amazon brand batteries are pure junk. It's frustrating to find that many didn't work, leading to unnecessary waste and more importantly, disappointed kids waiting for their toys to work. Don't waste your money on the amazon brand batteries.
