These have a long shelf life, but i have had difficulty getting batteries before that were affordable and would properly depassivate. Done correctly it works great.
The batteries were stamped 2010 and were not compatible with out current alarm system. Since it's made in china, there is maybe one or two factories that manufacturer these batteries and slap on a label for the distributor selling them.

Yea, costco is a better option. These candles are worthless. The big brand last much much longer. Don't waste your money on this candle.
