I think that the authors writing style compliments the content and intent of the book perfectly. Rarely do i enjoy reading a book as much as i have enjoyed this one.

An excellent book to explain the problems of assessing past temperatures over very long times. This is the book that every ill informed environmental and agenda driven policy wonk should read regarding climate.
Alley's prose is some of the worst i have ever read. I was nauseated. This has some really valuable data in it, but lord all mighty was deciphering what the author was saying incredibley difficult.
