A highly enjoyable and exciting dark political thriller. This is the first in a trilogy that is, perhaps, the best of modern political fiction. A gripping story about politics and power.
The writing is insipid, the characters equally so. Francis urguhart is an annoyingly petty bully. All the politics depend on whether an article is published in the newspaper. Very dry. Dull dull dull.
A fast read to organize further study. Used it almost as a bedtime story book for my children. A lot of interesting information inluding curiosities.
