These are perfect for hanging outdoor lights! Would buy again. Blocks wind, rain and sun. I'm using these to string lights on my pergola and they were very easy to install and work great.

This * together easily, has long enough spikes to be sturdy, and is holding my wind chime admirably.

A normal sized feeder causes the hook to lean. This shepherds pole comes apart too easily at the screw joints. Too weak to hold a solid basket.
