The cylinder itself is rugged and appears to be solid brass. The * has an exposed hammer which makes the reset procedure much-more comfortable.

Works as advertised. It is a bit pricey initially. Given the cost and scarcity of ammo these days, i believe it is well-worth the investment.

Mine works about 1/2 the time. In my case it turn into a laser pointer. But doesn't work when button is pressed.
