Holiday Fever Family Board Game ... vs Chess Armory 15" Large Magnetic ...

The rules are borderline ridiculous but that's exactly what kept us so entertained. The game itself is really well thought-out as you play through you prepare and then ultimately rush toward christmas.

Chess set is gorgeous and sleek for its price. The craftsmanship is really nice. No defects or anything.

Pieces are not weighted, but are acceptable. The magnetic pieces are so great so they don't go everywhere if the board gets knocked. It's also very convenient to have the addition queens for each side.

The chess board misalignment. The squares from the two halves of the board are misaligned. The most glaring issue is that i received a pawn with it's head cut off.

Not a good craftsmanship. It just is meh, not very impressive. The real damning quality is the absolute lack thereof.

The pieces are very light and get knocked off very easily while playing. The defective piece was probably milled from the end of the dowel. Also the pieces are magnetic while the board is not which makes little sense.
