It gets tighter but not tight enough. Cord is short so i store it with an extension cord especially for the cap. Comes with an additional cap to cover your hair before putting on the steam cap.

Does not heat at all. No steam. Item is faulty. If this product is advertised for afro hair, why are t women with afro hair used to advertise it.

It is also heavier than my old conair. Always come when promised.

Overall, this hairdryer dries my hair fairly quickly and is great for basic drying. It has excellent velocity, two good heat settings and two blower speed settings.

The plug is so light it often unplugs from the outlet and drops onto the vanity while in use. It's not retractable, which is a nuisance in a small bathroom. Buy your blow dryer elsewhere.
