GUND Beatrix Potter Peter Rabbit... vs Baby Einstein Octoplush Musical ...

The material is softish but not baby soft as its fairly tightly woven. My granddaughter loves to clutch it around the neck. It's soft and cuddly.

Peter rabbit has his cute little blue jacket with the * that are embroidered so that they're safer for babies, and his pretty little cottontail. His eyes are very sewn. One of them rattles too - which is a great little feature!

He's a very good size for a young girl to cuddle like a doll. The knitted covering makes it squeezably soft. It is a small stuffie, not a big ol’ thing, but i like that about him.

Peter rabbit plush is the perfect match for an old peter rabbit crib book. Gund knows how to make plushies, and peter is no exception. This peter the rabbit is adorable. Love this plush.

This is so small it's laughable. It says 8” tall but that’s the height of the basket.

It's soft and cuddly. My son gets so excited when he hears the noises coming from it and it is soft enough for him to eat it. Well worth the price.

Each tentacle plays a different message (colors) and the music that it plays is not annoying. The octopus is adorable! It’s a beautiful shade of blue. I personally love the newer model better, compared to the older one pictured in reviews.

The purple button goes off with the slightest movement of the octopus. Replacing the battery is almost impossible. It's quite possible i just received a defective toy.
