The chess and checker pieces are smaller than standard, but it doesn't bother me. The chinese checkers has real glass marbles which is hard to find in a multi-use set. This gives us a variety of options put together nicely in one container.

This board is just perfectly fine for our visits. It feels great craftsmanship.
