The light works, and my herbs are definitely growing under the light, but the timer doesn't work right. No need to unplug/re-plug.

The light is rather flimsy and flops around. This poke is too long for smaller pots, 12 pots it fits but keeps falling over.

The new model only has 1 fan and a plastic case. Possibly circuit overheating. No response from the seller. The second time i bought it, its plastic and the * are on different spots.
