This antenna allows me to have it folded down with the lockable joint just above the coil. Great signal on 80 meters as well as 40. My ts440s loads this antenna very well.
It comes with two rubber washers to seal up on your radio. Looks great and does its job nicely.
Using my baofeng uv-5r+ on 2 meter. Got this to upgrade my hand held and to help reach the local repeater. Haven't put it on a swr meter yet but am happy with the performance so far.
A little obnoxious when unwrapped but management. Very easy to adjust for sizing. Feel strong and manageable size.
Worse than sainsonic stock antenna or better nagoya equivalents. The stock rubber ducky is 100x’s better. Thank you for the refund amazon.
Don't buy the 18 incher. Will not transmit on 2m ham band. Poor match on baofeng gt-3tp, way worse to even pickup fm radio stations.
