The pad absorbs the liquid and the pad/litter keeps odor completely under control. I have an older dog that is incontinent. Not having a fenced yard makes it necessary for my girls to use potty pads.
The quality is good. Although a bit pricey, they are much better than others i’ve tried. They are nice and thick (6 ply) will be ordering again.

These are the worst potty pads i have ever seen. They soak through and ruined my hardwood floors. It has no adhesive corners to keep it from sliding.

Puppy pads can't handle the little bit of urine from a guinea pig. And it's been in the dryer. But now the puppy pad is useless.
I was really hyped about this order. Will not be purchasing again. But anyways, if it is the latter, that also defeats the purpose of the pad.
