The 4 inch side gussets accommodate the bulky coat. It is perfect and room enough for several of my robes. Used for my wedding gowns.

Product is sturdy but light weight. Plus the shoe bag is handy. I know it's a definite improvement over the cheap plastic bags i had before. Sturdy construction so anticipate getting many years of use out of it.
