They are not a 20 watt equivalent in brightness, either. When dimmed in the least it looks like christmas lights on a tree. They produce a good soft glow like a traditional bulb but constantly flicker.

The bulbs have lasted longer than the store brand bulbs i had been using. Replaced all 3 lamps with the shinestar bulbs.
