The silicone fits very snuggly on the chair legs and aren't going to budge. The chair slide easily without making any noise, and our floors are protected. It seems that it was with a couple of caveats.

These are great when you are pushing an empty chair in or, in our case, our 3 yr pushing the chair over to the cabinet to root around for candy. They seem durable and well constructed. They work well to protect our flooring.

These bookends keep a glass top on my ikea stands in place. We have a large, very heavy glass tabletop that sits on metal.

They aren't very clear as they appear a bit foggy and don't stay stuck-on. They're also quite hard and not very shock absorbent. Doesn't soften the sound of cabinets closing or bumping walls at all. Better to get non-adhesive bumpers.
