This is a fun book which possesses interesting facts. I wish it had been thicker and included more of the same. The selling feature of this book is the awesome woodcuts.

This book has so little text to each plant that it’s perfect for someone that wants to casually glimpse into the genre. The writers often use vague words like “grass” or “fungi” to say a it has a specific meaning in certain cultures.

It's honest and funny. Some of the subject matter is serious--like a micro-dosing nate silver. Empathy and wit.

Michelle rial is the author of a new book about lacroix. Her visual storytelling is an incredible, witty gift.

This collection of charts is creative and thought-provoking. Bright colors and hipster tchotchkes tackle life's questions.

It's also a slam dunk gift. It's kind of a litmus test to see if someone is on my brand. What a gem.

This is a combination of anxiety and exhibitionism. Nothing inspiring. The most useful part of the book is the success/failure chart.
