It's just a matter of chipping off the old and adding a new layer. Works like it should had hole in flex pipe really bad. Worked great to seal at the *.

The consistency is like peanut butter, making it easy to apply. After drying overnight just to be sure of a complete cure -- all is well. Do not skip heating, it absolutely needs to be heated to cure.

It hadn't even hardened and a blob of it was impeding the exhaust. It seems to crumble and fall out of exhaust joints. Likely not suitable for use with a catalytic converter.

Product leaves much to be desired. Does not do as advertised. Dont waste your money. Its total junk. Wasted hours i'll never get back!
