Led is not as hot as an incandescent bulb and as a result the led caused no harm to the lampshade. It seems the specifications on this feit bulb are accurate, whereas the chinese-branded bulb's specs were misleadingly exaggerated.

Easy to install in my existing 8' fixtures. Uses half as much energy as my old florescent.

The box was not crushed and covered like the first two in foot prints. Well packaged. Very good price. Very satisfied with the product.

You have to have a little electrical savvy to rewire the electrical part of it. Once you visualize how it goes, it's takes only minutes.

The box needs to clearly say fragile breakable items enclosed. Did not like that items were damaged.

If i use two they just flicker. Only sent 1/3 of bulbs.
